Dissertation Project
My dissertation analyzes the rhetorics of twelve individuals known as the Disinformation Dozen who were found to have produced 70% of the anti-COVID-vaccine misinformation on social media in 2020. By looking at the rhetorics of these physicians, politicians, influencers, and public figures I answer questions about what it means to be an expert and what happens when experts spread dangerous information.
